A stylish & intimate London wedding at Chelsea Old Town Hall

This autumn dream of a Chelsea day was the ultimate intimate London wedding.

Having met while living and working in London years before, Alyson and Adam - who now reside in Herefordshire, knew that their wedding day was meant for the city which they had previously called home.

As their photographer, it was such a privilege to capture and if I could relive this day and the joy it brought me and my camera believe me I would! In fact it changed the course of my business. Before this booking I’d decided that I wouldn’t be taking wedding photography forward - but I just could not say no to this gorgeous day - and the excitement I felt in the run up to it, made me realise that weddings are indeed the one for me. I’ve had wedding photography tunnel vision ever since!

Alyson and Adam’s ceremony was at the iconic Chelsea Old Town Hall on London’s King’s Road, while their post wedding exit on the steps will be a one I’ll never forget - the utter volume of confetti, the colours and the celebration from everyone attending made for a moment of pure magic.

Before champagne and dinner with their wedding party, we walked through Chelsea and took some portraits of just the two of them, finishing on the Albert Bridge - a special place for the newlyweds. Hailing a cab, they then joined their family at La Famiglia - a Tuscan restaurant in Chelsea, for spaghetti and of course, wedding cake!

Mr and Mrs Kanas, you really had the perfect day - thank you for the total honour x
