Rain & romance ~ an elopement in Bishop Auckland, County Durham

When I first found out that Teigan & Kate would be getting married on March 1st my initial thought was ohmygoodnessyaySPRING!

I’m sure they likely thought that too - but like with every wedding day IMHO the weather will be as it is meant to be and while it rained from the heavens all day long - them huddled together under silver grey skies and umbrellas - well it felt pretty perfect for the occasion. It was so beautifully British and romantic and something impossible to forget. They didn’t let it stop them getting outdoors in gorgeous Bishop Auckland for their couples portraits after their ceremony in the town’s registry office. In fact they braved the cold and that fine relentless kind of rain in the name of their wedding story for two whole hours.

Teigan and Kate, Kate and Teigan I absolutely adored your day and feel so privileged to have been a part of it - thank you truly, for such an honour.
